For Islamabad & Rawalpindi societies
Visitor Management for Islamabad and Rawalpindi Societies
In the twin cities, security checks at residential gates are taken seriously. Even so, many society gates still depend on a handwritten register and a phone call to the house. GuardWatch replaces both. Residents create QR passes, guards scan them, and the society keeps a permanent, searchable record of every entry.
Every society starts with a 30-day free pilot. Nothing is charged during the pilot.
Sectors, schemes and apartments
Islamabad's housing ranges from CDA sectors (the E, F, G and I series) with street-level guards, to large private schemes along the GT Road and Expressway such as Bahria Town and DHA Islamabad-Rawalpindi, newer areas like Gulberg and B-17, and a growing number of apartment towers. Across the boundary in Rawalpindi, there are many cooperative and private societies too. GuardWatch fits each of these setups:
- Gated schemes with several entry points: every Guard app feeds one society log.
- Sector streets and smaller enclaves: a single gate guard with one Android phone can run the system.
- Apartment towers: passes are tied to a unit, which speeds up lobby checks.
(Area names are used only to describe the region. They are not GuardWatch clients.)
Why digital records matter here
When a resident, the committee or the police asks who entered on a particular date, a paper register is hard to search and easy to fake. GuardWatch logs each scan with the pass, the host unit and the guard who scanned it. Committees can filter by date, unit or guest in seconds.
How it works at the gate
-
1
Resident creates a pass
in the Resident app.
-
2
Guest receives a unique QR
-
3
Guard scans it
in the Guard app, or enters the code manually.
-
4
Host unit is verified
and the resident is notified.
-
5
Entry is stored
in the society's digital log.
Domestic staff
Drivers, maids, cooks and gardeners each carry their own Helper app QR, which only works during their permitted daily hours. When a helper leaves a household's service, the admin can update their permit so they lose access.
Guard shifts
Guards record Time IN and Time OUT for each shift. Scan and attendance history let the committee, or your security contractor, check who was on post.
Admin app for the society office
Manage users, guards and units, and watch live guest and helper activity feeds from a phone. This suits committees that meet occasionally rather than staffing an office full time.
